Let's face it, you want to feel better, more balanced, maybe even a little enlightened...But the idea of meditating on a mountaintop or doing juice cleanses for days isn't going to cut it? Yeah, No thanks!
This book is part self-help, part spiritual toolkit, and cultural mixtape. All wrapped up in humor, heart, and a healthy dose of real talk.
"Journey To Whole-ism" cuts through the self-help noise with no BS.
A straight to the point guide to balancing your Body, Mind, and Spirit, without needing a guru, retreat, or a five-hour morning routine.
Inside you'll find 22 short but powerful topics designed to spark changes the "Lazy Ass Way". Practical doable steps that fit into real life and hopefully challenge your thought process. Each chapter includes recommended books, movies, podcast, and music. A Spotify playlist is easy to access to keep you inspired, entertained, on track and hopefully dancing. Sometimes we just need a Kick in the Ass to remind us how wonderfully powerful we already are.
It isn't about perfection, it's about progress. Learn to love the life you're living and reconnect to your authentic self.

Laurie Ann Wilson is a Jersey girl turned Oregon transplant, thanks to a fateful night when she picked up a drunk sailor in Japan. They were both drunk sailors! Now married 40 years. She proudly served six years in the Navy and has over thirty years of nursing experience,
Nationally certified in holistic nursing, she taught classes, volunteered with the Red Cross, and spent decades helping people heal, Body, Mind and Spirit.
Now Laurie is bringing all that wisdom (plus her sense of humor and a little woo-woo Sparkle) to her debut book:
Journey To Whole-ism: The Lazy Ass Way.
She proves that balancing the Body, Mind, and Spirit doesn't have to be boring, serious, or perfect. It can be fun, messy, and totally doable; You don't have to burn sage in every corner of your home (unless you want to). Enjoy the Journey with her.

Writing this Book was the Craziest Thing I Ever Did!
What an interesting challenging endeavor this has been. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine. Never did I think I really would do it in eighteen months, but damn I did! The world of publishing was definitely a foreign country and language to me.
Learning how to navigate many, many Apps, Web sites... What the hell is a Beta reader, Blurb, SEO, Dropbox, Canva, Traditional vs Indie Publishing, POD (print on demand), Bowker-ISBN, Branding, URL, Domain, WIX, Shopify, WOO, Merch? I had no idea, that Editing has three phases, before going to a Formatter. I was gifted an amazing Editor/Formatter because I didn't want to learn that too LOL. (TG for Laura Perry, very patient & kind). Did you know there's multiple comma "names" Oxford, Joining, Introductory, Bracketing, Appositive...whaaat the Fk!
Typing with two fingers and saving files, not knowing how to retrieve them. OMG where the FK did they go came out of my mouth daily! My mind felt like it was going to explode at times, for real. Did you know there's a thing called Talk to Text, what a life saver, granted if your sister calls and is on speaker, your entire conversation will land up in your book's manuscript, WTF-LOL.
Leaving a legacy, encouraging others, and sharing my knowledge and stories is a blessing to me and hopefully to my readers too!
What a Journey To Whole-ism this has been for me.
Enjoy Namaste xoxo
